OUR STORY

Azur Charleston was founded in 2023 by three friends with a shared passion for food, drinks, and hospitality: Dominique, a master pastry chef with years of experience running successful businesses in Charleston, across the U.S., and in France; his son Mathis, an inventive mixologist; and Benjamin, a trusted friend and accomplished business owner.

Dominique brings decades of culinary expertise and creativity to every dish, while Mathis crafts cocktails that surprise and delight. Benjamin ensures the restaurant operates seamlessly, combining his business acumen with a commitment to warm, welcoming service.

Together, they built Azur Charleston to be more than a restaurant—it’s a place where friendship, community, and exceptional dining come together. Every dish, drink, and detail reflects their dedication to creating memorable experiences for every guest.
